Kenora's July 1 events and fireworks were postponed, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so Tourism Kenora is making up for it this weekend.
Special Events Coordinator Morgan Seller explained.
“We are celebrating the summer season on the Kenora Harbourfront. We’re very grateful to our sponsors the City of Kenora, the Kenora Hospitality Alliance and Canadian Heritage. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, August 2!” said Special Events Coordinator, Morgan Seller.
“We ask that everyone please practice social distancing by remaining two metres apart while in attendance. If you’re not able to socially distance, we strongly recommend that you wear a mask.”“People can attend by land and by water. Again, we just ask that you practice social distancing and masks are highly recommended,” added Seller.
The firework are set to begin at 10:45 pm to celebrate another summer season in Kenora.
