A  Grandmother is like an angel, who takes you under her wing.
She prays and watches over you and she’d give you anything.

Florence Marie Josephine Bellefeuille – A woman of grace

With family by her side, Florence passed away at Pinecrest Home for the Aged on Friday, February 5th, 2016 at the age of 90 years.  She had received special blessings by clergymen in the week prior to her death – for which she expressed gratitude – and she appeared prepared to meet her Maker.

Florence was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, to Joseph and Marie-Rose Bouchard (nee Giasson) on December 29, 1925.  She was predeceased by Leo Bellefeuille (affectionately known as Ponto), her husband of 46 years, in 1997, as well as four brothers (Wilfred, Gerry, Paul and Roger), brothers-in-law Lorenzo (Punch) and Colin, and sisters-in-law (Ernestine, Josie, Alice and Ruth).  She is survived by her three loving children: Geri (Jim), Lionel (Andrea) and Phil (Levi).  Mom, along with Dad, welcomed step-grandchildren (Tonya, Jamie, Alexis), grandchildren (Julia, Hannah, Amy, Lauren) and great-grandchildren (Morgan, Darcy, Ronan, Duncan, Ewan) into their lives.  She leaves behind an older brother Leo, younger brother Luke (Marg), sister Rita Reynard, sister-in-law Betty Bouchard, and sister-in-law Sherry Bouchard.

The family wish to sincerely thank the attentive staff at Pinecrest over the past year, medical personnel who assisted her during hospitalizations, Sandy Moss, her 1:1 caregiver, the Keewatin Medical Clinic group, and Dr. Shannon Wiebe who coordinated her care with compassion.

A private service will take place at Notre Dame Catholic Church.  A Celebration to honour her life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospital Foundation or to Notre Dame.  Condolences, photos, or messages may be offered on-line at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre.
