Staff with the Northwestern Health Unit are reporting another 4 cases of COVID-19 in the Kenora area.
Follow-up with those involved has started, and anyone identified as a close contact for these cases will be reached directly by NWHU staff.
As well, one Rainy River case and one Kenora case have been removed as they are no longer considered positive cases. A case from Sioux Lookout has been assigned to a different health unit, and they are in isolation.
The NWHU is now reporting 73 active cases in the Kenora region, with 3 in the Sioux Lookout area and 3 in the Dryden / Red Lake area.
Overall, staff have reported 453 cases, including 7 probable cases, since March of 2020.
Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms, or who has been in contact with a positive case, should self-isolate, get tested, and remain in isolation until your test results are known.
