One of the tourist attractions on Lake of the Woods won’t be operating this year.
The owners of the Grace Anne ll say it will doing a five year hull inspection this year mandated by Transport Canada.
High water last year and the pandemic prevented the work being done last year and the year before.
Also, the high water caused significant damage to the Grace Anne’s lodge on Big Narrows Island.
The comany that owns the boat says it will be doing repairs and also making some enhancements to the lodge this summer.
In the meantime, reservations are still be accepted for the 2024 season.
