Keewatin's Jeff "Gussy" Gustafson had his best day today at the 2021 Farmers Insurance Bassmaster Elite event but fell short of advancing to championship Sunday.

Gustafson reeled in a Day 3 haul of 5 fish for 21 pounds and 3 ounces on Semi-Final Saturday, which was just short of the 4 pounds 3 ounces he needed to get him into the Top 10 for Sunday.

He finished the tournament with a three-day total of 15 fish for 56 pounds 10 ounces.

His performance today has put him into 31st place in the "Angler of the Year" standings with 571 points, which punched his ticket to the Bassmaster Classic.
