The local talent of Kenora took to the stage of the Knox Church to show the best of the Festival.

The best of the best of the Kenora District festival of the arts were preformed at the Knox United church yesterday. Hundreds gathered to watch the various forms of art presentaions, including Dancing, singing, and drama.

Throughout the Festival, the Adjudicators choose what they think are the best preformances of each category to compete for the various awards. Their choices make it into the Hi-Lites concert, where they show the public their talents, before the winners are announced.

At the end of the concert, the awards were handed out and Breanne Delorme was the winner of the Youth Peoples choice award for the Visual Arts program. She told us how it felt to win.

"Great, actually. I originally wasn't even going to enter this year, but my mom convinced me to join and I'm really glad I did."

Delorme also told us her favourite part of the festival.

"Well, I love seeing everybody else's work. We have so many talented people in Kenora so it's nice to see everything, and it really is my favourite."

Although this years festival has just ended, many still eargerly wait for next years festival, so they can continue to show their talents.
