By Kim Leduc Oct 20, 2022 | 4:05 AM

There are a few days left for residents of Kenora to cast their ballots for the Municipal Election.

As of yesterday, (October 19, 2022) 2,967 (26.9%) of the 11,042 eligible voters have voted. The average turn-out for electors is 329.7 per day.

Polls close at 8:00 p.m. on October 24, 2022.

Eligible voters should have received a voter information letter in the mail, which includes instructions on how to vote online or by phone, a unique PIN number and information of their local voter help centre.

If not, City Hall’s Council Chambers are set up as Kenora’s Election Headquarters to help voters with any issues.

Residents are able to be added to the Voters’ list and receive their PIN in person. You can also call the headquarters at 807-467-2975. As well, you can find an online form at Kenoravotes.ca to be added to the list.

If residents need help voting, municipal staff have been out in the community assisting people with voting – and you can also visit City Hall between 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, as well as Saturday, October 22.
