The Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Police responded to 165 calls over the weekend, according to their weekend report. 

Amongst a variety of calls, three charges were laid under the Criminal Code.

  • 3 Domestic Dispute
  • 9 Liquor Licence Act
  • 3 Mental Health Act
  • 2 Missing Person
  • 2 Suspicious Person
  • 12 Property Check
  • 7 Traffic Complaints
  • 6 Theft
  • 4 Trespass to Property Act
  • 11 Motor Vehicle Collision
  • 10 Police Assistance
  • 4 Police Information
  • 10 R.I.D.E.
  • 18 Unwanted Person

The citizens of Ontario have other ways to report a minor crime. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reminding the public about their online reporting system as an alternative to having an officer attend a scene for a minor incident.
