Between Friday, April 30, 2021 and Monday, May 3, 2021, OPP in Kenora responded to 210 calls for service and laid 14 charges under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act. Calls over the weekend included:

  • 5 Ambulance Assistance

  • 4 Bail Violations

  • 32 Liquor License Act

  • 11 Traffic Complaints

  • 2 Mental Health Act

  • 22 Police Assistance

  • 19 Police Information

  • 8 Traffic Complaints

  • 5 Noise Complaints

  • 5 Missing Person

  • 1 Impaired/Over 80

  • 5 Trespass to Property Act

  • 2 Trouble with Youth

  • 30 Unwanted Person

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) urges the public to use their online reporting system as an alternative to having an officer attend a scene for a minor incident. This would be for calls including:

  • Theft Under $5000

  • Mischief / Damage to Property Under $5000

  • Mischief / Damage to Vehicle Under $5000

  • Theft from Vehicle

  • Lost / Missing Property Under $5000

  • Stolen License Plates

  • Driving Complaints
