It is with tragic sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter, mother, sister, aunt, granddaughter cousin & friend our forever heart Kristy at the young age of 31.
Kristy was predeceased by her son Mikeal, baby 2023, her brother Nolan (Noogie), Kokum Sally McDonald, shoomis George Bunting, uncle Duran Brown Eagle and many other family members before her too numerous to mention.
Kristy is survived by her children Nevaeh, Latrelle, Ally & Kamdyn, her parents Amy (Keith), Jeff (Santina), her grandpa Ron P McDonald, her kookum Mary T Bunting, her siblings Autume (Geoffrey) who was always by her side and always protected, her brothers Dennie (Jamie), Kyler (Janelle), Kaylee Colton, Logan and Kylie, her aunts Tiffany (Murphy), Lindsey (Kyle), Charlene (Randy), Darlene Henry, Jennifer (Mike), uncles Jamie (Samara), Jeremiah, Rocky (Gretchen), Brandon (Judy), Adrian and Ronnie, David (Cheyenne), her great aunt and great uncle whom she loved dearly and spent sometime with Claudette & Reinie, cousins Michelle and many numerous cousins and friends. As well as, her nieces and nephews whom she had a big heart and so much love for Caliah, William, Spencer and lil Sally, Suraya and Zaiden, Nolyn, Hailee, Sherae, Kaillen, Kesler, Paislee, Seneca and Kyla and her best friends Gerald and Justin.
Kristy loved her family loved spending her time with her sister Autume and her children hanging out and doing outdoor things, she was always a big mother bear to all that came into her path she had a huge heart for all whom knew her. She was well known for her home runs when she played baseball the only female well known for and that could hit the ball out of the field. Kristy fought her sickness hard but her sickness was just too strong in the end she went peacefully.
Traditional Wake services will begin on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 4:00pm at the Mizhakiiwetung Memorial School Gymnasium. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11:00am with cremation to follow.
The family would like to ask that woman wear skirts throughout the time she’s home, we also ask that no one wear red for traditional reasons.
May you walk gently on that path home to the everlasting place we call paradise. We love you Kristy Journey well ❤️
