Seventh Avenue South will be closed down until early November due to ongoing road work.
Road work will be taking place in the Lakeside area until November, closing down a roadway and creating a detour for local residents.
The City of Kenora says Titan Contractors Kenora have started surface, water and sanitary sewer work on Seventh Avenue South, from Sixth Street South to Eighth Avenue South, with work expected to wrap up by November 10, 2022.
The city says the street will be closed during construction work, with detours in place. The closure will affect homes on Sixth Avenue South, Sixth Street South and Seventh Avenue South in the Lakeside area, just up from Confederation College.
