Lana Ronning (Flatt), a beautiful soul, suddenly passed away at the age of 56 on Sunday, February 5th, 2023.
She was a loving mother to Crystal (Sheldon), Mathew (Rachel), and Jessica (Tyson). Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she will be dearly missed by Treyton, Kaliyah, Kashton, and Kayce. She was the beloved daughter to Carol and Cecil Flatt, and a cherished sister to Ken and Sherri, nephew Brady, and sadly missed by her partner of over 25 years, John.
Lana was predeceased by her husband, Colin.
Lana was known for her big heart and a smile that lit up the room, she enjoyed life, and brought happiness to everyone around her. Even throughout her hardest times in life she always put others first. She had a heart of gold and was genuine and compassionate.
During her life she worked as a personal support worker helping take care of others with disabilities. Later in life she devoted herself to spending time with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her selfless nature, loving heart and strong spirit.
You will forever be in our hearts and will truly be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (429 2nd St S, Kenora, ON, P9N 1G7) on February 20th, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Cathy Giroux officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Rideout Rink (300 Mikado Ave, Kenora, ON P9N 3B2) following the memorial service.
