Water levels on Lake of the Woods are gradually going up because of rising water levels downstream.
As a result, two increases in outflow have been announced at the Norman Dam this week.
The first took place on Monday and the second is taking place today.
The Control Board says water levels are above preferred levels for this time of year.
The Winnipeg River is expected to go up by 15 centimeters, 10 centimeters at the Dalles and 7 centimeter in Minaki.
