Mental Health Week runs May 2-8 and the Canadian Mental Health Association Kenora Branch is running a number of events to raise awareness.

On Monday, staff with CMHA were seen along the greenbelt with signs promoting the week and encouraging the community to join in on their Kenora Inspires Empathy Contest.

They have placed signs along the greenbelt, which has a question on it for you to reflect on, and every time you answer one of these questions on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #KenoraInspiresEmpathy you will be entered into a draw to win a spring wellness package.

The signs will be at the harbourfront all week, but if you can’t make it down, they will also be posted on CMHA Kenora’s website and our social media pages throughout the week so you can still participate in the contest. The contest closes at midnight on Sunday, May 8 and the winner will be announced shortly after.

There will also be a couple of workshops the community can take part in:
