The reopening of indoor tables for restaurants is good news for local businesses. Bob Firth of Bob's Burgers says he's getting ready, so he can take full advantage of the reopening.

"It's where we want to be finally. It looks like it's going to come" he said yesterday.

Firth says the city has been easy to work with, as he expands his patio space to include the neighbouring Sunset Grill, formerly Hap's.

"In the restaurant business, it's been really tough at times, and we're excited,"

Firth would also like to bring back live music, and the easing of public gatherings to 50 may allow this.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford made the announcement about reopening yesterday, during his daily briefing.
