The Dryden Mission is now accepting donations for their first truck of the year for Mission Africa.
With the long weekend approaching and the weather forecast (so far) not looking exactly favorable to be spending much time outdoors, now is the great time to go though your hall closest, the spare room, the basement, the garage in search for every piece of extra material, fabric, lines and clothing to help pack the truck for Mission Africa. The Dryden Mission is accepting donations now to fill a 52 foot truck bound for relief in Africa at the end of May. The staff and volunteers at the Mission ask that you do call ahead before bringing your donations. The Donation Depot is open Tuesday - Friday 10 - 4, Saturday 10 - 3.
If you don't have anything that you can donate, you can still help out in another way! The Mission is also looking for volunteers to help load the truck on Tuesday, May 26th from 9 a.m. To 11 a.m. Lunch will be served to all volunteers that help out. For more information on Mission Africa and how you can help out call 1 807 223 4313.
