Myles Faltermeier
February 5, 1963 – March 10, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Myles after a brief battle with cancer.
He was born in Lloydminster, SK but moved with his family at a young age to Valleyview, AB. In 1979 at the age of 16, Myles moved back to Lloydminster, SK to start his welding career.
In 1983, Myles met the love of his life, Lynn and they married in 1985. Soon after they welcomed their boys Lawrence and Trevor.
In 1991, when work slowed down in Alberta, Myles moved his family to Kenora. It was not meant to be a permanent move, but he fell in love with the area and after 32 years it was where he called home.
Myles was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time on the trapline.
Myles was thrilled to welcome four grandchildren into his life. They were his greatest joy.
Myles will be missed by many, his mother Sherlaine, his wife of almost 38 years, Lynn, his sons Lawrence and Trevor (Ashley) and his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Jayden, Shelby-Lynn and Alice, his brothers and sisters, Mark, Merlin, Dwayne, Jim, Deana, Ed, Chrissy, Michael, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Edward Faltermeier.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Cancer Society of charity of your choice.
