NWO still paying highest fuel prices in Ontario

The Kenora District has the most expensive fuel across Ontario, sitting between 154.9 and 164.9.

Ontario’s average gas price has been dropping over the past week – but prices haven’t budged in the Kenora District where we continue to pay the most for fuel across the province.

The average fuel price in Ontario is sitting at 139.7 per litre according to statistics from GasBuddy, but drivers in Kenora are paying 160.9, Dryden’s paying 154.9 and Red Lake’s up to 164.9 per litre. Prices aren’t listed for Sioux Lookout.

The last time our region’s average price fell was on December 14 when prices dropped from 170.9 to 160.9. Since then, Ontario’s average price has fluctuated 22 times in that same time frame – with no changes seen in the region.

This comes as Thunder Bay and Winnipeg are both reporting prices between 125.7 and 149.9. Orillia has the cheapest fuel in Ontario at am average of 128.9.

Golden, BC has the most expensive fuel prices across Canada at 175.9 per litre, while the least expensive can be found in Rocky Mountain House, AB at 112.9 per litre.
