Olivia Ruth Land
April 13, 1983 – February 24, 2023
With her family by her side, after a courageous battle, my sister Olivia Land a member of Thunder Bay Lodge passed away on February 24, 2023 at the lodge, at the age of 39 years.
She leaves to mourn and will be remembered by her children, Delana & husband Jyles Land, Neveah Necanapenace, James Necanapenace Jr., Enzo Necanapenace, grandchildren Anthony Leblanc and Noah Hardy, siblings Valerie Land, Burton, Shaylene, Mitchell Fobister & wife, Farrah Fobister and Dawn Rose Ackabee.
She was predeceased by parents Roy Fobister and Delores Land.
Olivia aka (Obella) was our sister, best friend, mother and grandmother. She was a true inspiration to my brother, myself and cousins growing up. Although she lived with two wonderful foster parents from Whitefish Bay. But when we would meet in our travels it was never awkward, or like she never left, just pick up where we left off. She loved her family, friends, and especially her children and grandchildren.
She was a fun, silly, outgoing, outspoken, very strong willed, who always had the energy to go for walks, she loved being outside in the summer time. She lived life fearlessly, like our mom, she was tough and wasn’t afraid to try anything new that came her way. She was easy to get along with, and made many friends everywhere she went.
