The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is reporting one new fire in the Dryden area.
Dryden #2 is a 3.3 hectare fire was first reported just after 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and is listed as under control.
The fire is located just west of the community near Nobar Road.
It brings the active number of fires in the Kenora district to two.
Kenora #2 was discovered Monday near Wabaseemoong and is listed as being held.
There have been a total of five fires so far this fire season.
Conditions currently show the Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances areas as high risk zones, while the Atikokan and Thunder Bay areas are listed as moderate to low risk zones.
