The OPP says its Criminal Investigations Branch is looking into a fatal fire on the Pikangikum First Nation.
The CIB is also been assisted by the Red Lake Crime Unit, Pikangikum Police Service, and OPP Forensic Identification Unit, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
A forensic post-mortem exam is also taking place in Toronto later this week.
Over the weekend it was confirmed that two adults and a young child were killed last Wednesday night.
The cause of the fire is currently being determined by the Ontario Fire Marshall.
