Ontario Provincial Police say they have made a pair of arrests following a lengthy investigation.

On Tuesday, police stopped a vehicle heading east from the Manitoba border on Highway 17.

An undisclosed quantity of cocaine was discovered.

The driver of the vehicle, a 44 year old man, faces drug trafficking charges along with possession of proceeds of crime under $5000.

The passenger, a 29 year old woman, also faces drug trafficking charges.

They currently in custody are due to appear again in the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday.
