OPP say Dryden business owner faces drug charges

The Dryden OPP say they have made a couple of arrests following a lengthy investigation.

On Tuesday, police stopped a vehicle heading east from the Manitoba border on Highway 17.

A quantity of cocaine was discovered.

The OPP say a Dryden business owner has been arrested.

The driver of the vehicle, a 44 year old man faces drug trafficking charges along with possession of crime under five thousand dollars.

The passenger, a 29 year old woman also faces drug trafficking charges.

They currently in custody are due to appear again in the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday.
