Patrick Stanley Seymour

With his family by his side, Patrick S. Seymour of Wauzhushk Onigum Nation, Passed away on April 28, 2023 at Lake of the Woods District Hospital at the age of 63.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Sandy, his children Jamie(Winona), Christa(Chris), Dom(Ceejay), Patrice(Roy), Sonya, Winter(Chris G.), Patrick Bro(Summer), Kalvin(Anita), Kevin(Amber). His grandchildren: Riality, Courtney, Austin, Taylor, Rochelle, Treston, Aiyana, William, Cody, Jase, Royce, Royalty, Jaelyn, Athena, Piper, Elly, Katalia. Great-grandchildren: Lily, Leah, Scarlett, Maverick, Ollie and Montana.
He will also be missed by his siblings, Lulu(Jean), Louise (Ernesto), Stella, Lionel, his nieces and nephews: Charlene, Gaby, Candy, Lori, Jamie, Kyro, Raven S, Raven B, Cayla, Branden, Janine. Joel, Alita, Kiesha, Jessica, Ashley, Natasha, Jordan, and all of their children, some of his best friends: Lloyd, Einer, Manz, Boss, Hilo, Kavin, Rob, Majan & Dave, Maggie, Tom and Kendall and numerous friends and family. We apologize if we missed anyone during this difficult time.
Patrick is predeceased by his mother Mary Gardner(Skead), father Patrick Seymour, brothers Lawrence, Donny, Rocky and Arc, his nieces Rena, Tanya and Asia and his family and friends who have previously passed on to the spirit world.
Patrick was born on March 17, 1960 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He was a proud member of Wauzhushk Onigum Nation. He was a hardworking man who was devoted to his children and grandchildren. He loved all of the children in his life, and made sure they knew they were loved. His favorite thing to do was to take them on walks and go crabapple picking at the Marina.
Patrick loved the outdoors, he spent his time fishing, commercial fishing, cutting and gathering wood for the communities. He had a smile and joke for everyone he talked to. He carried his sense of humor right until the end. He made many friends who became family. He will be missed and loved by everyone.

A traditional wake begin Monday, May 1, 2023 at 3:00pm at the Golden Eagle Bingo Hall. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 10:00am with burial to follow at his residence in Wauzhushk Onigum.
Pallbearers will be Patrick(Bro), Kalvin, Kevin, Treston, Chris, Chris, Roy, and Austin. Honorary Pallbearers: Manz, Hilo, Boss, Jamie, Kavin, and Ernesto.
