Renovations are underway at Kenora’s Transfer Station, and delays can be expected over the next two weeks.
Crews are working to pave under the canopy on the recycling side of the station. Half of the work is expected to be completed this week, while the second half of paving will take place next week.
Residents can still use half of the canopy portion that is not being paved for recycling, but delays can be expected while paving is taking place.
The city also reminds the public that as of this Sunday, November 1, the transfer station’s hours will be going into winter reduced hours, and will only be open between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Sundays until the spring.
