There won't be any fireworks Canada Day, but there will be still lots of activities tomorrow on the Harbourfront.
The city's special events co-ordinator Morgan Seller says most of the activities will take place during the day.
"It's a free family event...everyone is welcome...there's some activities, and a specialty market, so there's something for everyone to do while visiting," states Seller.
Seller adds that activities will start at 10 and run until 3 pm under the Jarnel Contractive Pavilion and the south parking lot.
"There is no entrance fee. It's a free family event. You can come down and play on the bouncy castles, get you face painted...take family pictures in the photo booth."
The south parking lot will be closed Friday afternoon at 5:00 to allow for setup.
The Mather-Walls will also be holding their Canada Day strawberry tea as well from 2 until 4 pm and there will be live music starting at 8:00 at Cottage Time.
The next night, July 2nd, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra makes its annual appearance in Kenora.
The 65 piece orchestra will be under the Jarnel Contracting Pavilion with the concert starting at 7:30 pm.
