Flyers captain Chris Pronger's injury-plagued season took another turn for the worse, as the team reports he's suffering from concussion-like symptoms. Management says the condition relates to the eye injury he suffered earlier this year, and the defenceman's said to be out for an "indefinite" period of time.
During the off-season, Pronger had surgery to repair his back and hand. No sooner had he returned from the surgery, than he missed time for the eye injury.
He's also missed time due to a virus and knee problems. In 13 games this season, Pronger has 12 points, including 11 assists.
