Mounties are investigating the sudden death of a Kenora woman near Kamloops in late November.

Mounties in B.C. are investigating the sudden death of a Kenora woman. Police are treating the passing of 47-year-old Dove-Aline Dubois as suspicious.

Dubois is the daughter of Rose Derouard and Garry Dubois. She was found deceased at her Cree Lake home near Kamloops at the end of November.

While an arrest was made, the suspect was subsequently released. Police didn't say why the suspect was released.

An autopsy has been completed, in an effort to determine the cause of death. However, the results have not yet been released.

Dubois spent her early years in Kenora, before moving west. She was also the step-daughter of Henry Derouard.

Donations in her memory can be made to the Kenora Cat Shelter or It's a Dogs Life.
