Staff with the City of Kenora have reopened all municipal buildings and facilities that have been closed due to COVID-19, including the Kenora Recreation Centre, Kenora Public Library, City Hall, the Muse and the Discovery Centre.
These facilities have been closed since December’s provincial shutdown and through January’s Stay-at-Home orders, which ended in mid-February. But due to the rising case numbers in the Kenora area at the time, city leadership made the call to delay the reopening of these facilities, to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
