Red Lake’s Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital has named Sumeet Kumar as its new President and CEO.
Kumar has over 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and most recently served as the Director of Quality at St. Joseph’s Care Group in Thunder Bay, where Health Standards Canada recognized his work in their long-term care division.
Kumar’s expected to step into the role by May 15, 2023.
He’s also the author of ‘Courageous Leadership’ – a book on healthcare excellence – and has been the keynote speaker at national and international healthcare quality conferences.
Kumar’s wife Puja and their two daughters will be joining him in the Red Lake community.
