Staffing shortages mean its taking longer than usual to paint lines on the roads in Kenora.
Northwest Lines has the contract once again for $350,000.
The city says highways, streets, intersections, and parking areas are being completed in stages this summer.
As well detail work like slip lanes and intersection arrows have not yet been marked.
So far only the highways have been completed.
Most of the remaining work has to be done by on-the-ground crews with smaller equipment and cannot be sprayed with a truck-mounted unit.
