The St. Thomas Aquinas girls soccer team didn’t allow a goal in the three games they played over the past two days at the Tom Nabb Soccer Complex.
The Saints played Rainy River and Red Lake in week two of the short NorWOSSA “A” soccer season.
The TA girls romped to 8-0 wins over the Owls and Rams, and they settled for a 2-0 win over Red Lake.
The St. Thomas Aquinas boys also made it a clean sweep of their regular season games, defeating the Rams 5-1 and 8-1 and shutting out Rainy River 8-0.
The NorWOSSA “A” championships will take place, next week on May 25th in Red Lake.
The winners will advance to the NWOSSA championships for a chance to advance to the OFSAA finals in London starting June 8th.
