September is Suicide Prevention Month and the Canadian Mental Health Association Kenora Brach is selling Sam's Tags Clothing in support of mental health programming.
Sam Bush was a 21-year-old who took his own life in 2019. Sam's tags is an initiative his mother Tammy started.
"I began making key chains in the hopes that they may help someone else to be a reminder that your life is a gift to others and that you impact others in a positive way just by being here. All tags have messages that I wish Sam remembered. If we can help someone else remember, it will bring some light into this darkness," says Tammy.
The clothing that is available for purchase feature the Sam's Tags logo along with the CMHA logo.
All proceeds will go towards the CMHA Kenora Branch programming. If you would like more information on how you can purchase the clothing please contact Jenna Camire, Fundraising & Prevention Coordinator at 807-468-1838 ext. 250.
