Sasha Elizabeth Flora Henry
February 10, 1991 – March 27, 2023
Sasha passed away at Lake of the Woods District Hospital with family by her side, her beloved sister, daughter, nieces, cousin and best friend and will be missed immensely.
Sasha was the youngest to Debra and John Henry. Sasha was a live-in caregiver to her parents and doing her chores outside, being a great helper around the home. She also loved to plant and garden.
Sasha was an avid artist, she loved camping and being outdoors, she always loved her pets and always treated them like her children. Sasha also loved doing crafts and enjoyed giving them away to friends and family.
Sasha was predeceased by her great great grandfather Sitting Bull, grandparents John Henry Sr., Flora Henry, Paul Beauchamp, Mary Jane Myron, brother Levi Fox, cousin Chippewa Bluebird, Charles Beauchamp, uncles Archie, Keith Myron Clifford, Brian Beauchamp, Ron Myron and aunties Virginia, Lillian Gwen Beauchamp, Nancy Elizabeth Henry and still missing Margaret Henry.
She is survived by her husband Stanley (Stan the man) Henry, her brothers Christopher James, Victor and John Day Chief, Jeremy and Joven Skead, John Beauchamp, Chad Henry, nephews Cruz and Charles Henry, Parker and Theron Fox, sister Kyla Henry, nieces Devaney Brittain, Lilly Moss Henry, Keira Fox, Oceana and parents John and Debra Henry.
Sasha’ Cha Cha’ lovingly called by Lily will be greatly missed by her father, mother and family. She always cared for others before herself and will always be fondly remembered by family and friends. Rest easy my girl.
Pallbearers will be Josh Kabestra, James Henry, Adam Myron, Peter Munroe, Sam McDonald and Tyler Perrault.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Niisaachewan Anishinaabe Nation Economic of Excellence Auditorium from 12:00 – 9:00 pm and a private service for family at Sasha’s residence in Niisaachewan First Nation.
