Jets first-round pick Mark Scheifele has been chosen to take part in the selection camp for this year's edition of the national junior team. Camp starts Dec. 10 and selections will be made for the world juniors starting Dec. 26th.

Meanwhile, the Sens visit the Jets tonight at the MTS. Face-off time's 7:30 and a win puts them at the .500 mark. It's the start of a five-game homestand for Winnipeg.

Last night, Mike Richards' hot streak continued as he scored his eighth goal in 10 games to lead
the Kings over San Jose 2-0. In Edmonton, the Predators edged the Oilers 2-1, while Minnesota beat Tampa 3-1 and Dallas overwhelmed the Avalanche by the same 3-1 score.
