A familiar face is back at the helm at the Kenora and District Chamber of Commerce.
Andy Scribilo was sworn in this week.
Scribilo says he’s excited to see a number of younger business people getting involved.
“The plan is, we have a full slate of executives now, and I think it’s time for us to move on,” says Scribilo.
“We’ve got some new, younger people in, that want to move the chamber forward, and support our business community.”
He adds that in addition to downtown safety, they want to put a spotlight on chamber members.
“We’re going to focus on bringing our business members together in a social atmosphere to start with, and we’re going to have highlights of our businesses each month.”
Mayor Andrew Poirier swore the new executive members in during the Chamber’s monthly meeting on Tuesday.
