Sisters Gracie, Emily and Molly are spreading messages of hope to the community of Wabaseemoong, also known as Whitedog.

They call their efforts Three Sisters Rainbow Shop and the girls coloured and cut out 100 rainbows with words of hope for first responders, community leaders, health teams, residents and members of Team Rubicon who are currently in Wabaseemoong.

The girls enlisted Treaty Three Police to make the rainbow deliveries and Acting Sergeant - Wabaseemoong Detachment Commander James Broughton and his team were happy to help.

"We were honoured to carry out this act of kindness on their behalf. Certainly well-received and put a lot of smiles on faces. Pretty amazing that this came from three young girls, just as a reminder to be kind to everybody and support each other."

The girls were then invited to Treaty Three Kenora headquarters this week, where they received recognition for their kindness and gifts from the Chief of Police and command staff.
