After two losses to open the series, the Kam River Fighting Walleye are now down 3-0 against the Red Lake Miners in the best of seven finals of the SIJHL playoffs. The Fighting Walleye are in their first season in the league, and are now one loss away from elimination after a 7-1 drumming last night. The Miners take on the Fighting Walleye again tonight in Red Lake’s Cochenour Arena.

Kenora's Special Olympic Bowlers didn't let the weather affect their fun and performance last night. Shane Legros led the men with an impressive 240. Brian Fournier followed will 191 and then Andrew Gordon with 149. Leading the ladies was Diane Vivian with 181, Alisabeth Paddison came close with 167 and Brennon Spencer-Gropp came out with 144. MVP for the night went to Alan Adams with 142.

The Raptors kept their season alive with yet another clutch win last night. Pascal Siakam had 23 points and Toronto dominated the 76ers 103-88, cutting Philadelphia's lead to 3-2 in the opening-round playoff series. Game 6 will go Thursday in Toronto.

Kevin Gausman will get the start for Toronto today as the Blue Jays host the Red Sox. Yesterday, Bo Bichette hit his first career grand slam, lifting Toronto to a 6-2 win over Boston. Nick Pivetta of Victoria is set to take the mound for the Red Sox, who've lost five of their last six games.

And it’s a busy night in the NHL as teams look to claw their way into the final two wildcard spots in the west. It’s now down to three of LA, Vegas, Nashville and Dallas to make the playoffs. And The Golden Knights take on the Stars at 7:30.
