Men's and women's slo-pitch is back in action for the season. In the men's side, Homes Voodoo crushed Bowman Electric's Sons of Pitches 33-14, and the CarStar Rockies outdid the Moncrief Diggers 25-6. On the women's side, the Dunit Diamonds outscored Bat Intentions 19-14, the Shear Heaven Clippers batted their way to their first win of the season beating Jarnel 9-6, and it was KTown Kafe getting the W over the Renegades 18-13. 

It's time for NorWOSSA soccer. St. Thomas Aquinas, Beaver Brae and Fort Frances will kick off against each other in their respective games in both the boys' and girls' divisions. All games are being played at Tom Nabb park.

In the NHL, Evander Kane and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored two a piece with Zach Hyman adding one as the Edmonton Oilers downed the Calgary Flames 5-3 last night to take a 3-1 lead in the Battle of Alberta playoff series. The Flames are on the brink of elimination, and will be back on home ice tomorrow night. 

The New York Rangers tied their series up against the Carolina Hurricanes last night taking it 4-1. The series sits at 2-2.

And it could be the end of the line of the St. Louis Blues tonight. They're up against the Avalanche for game five in their best-of-seven playoff series. The Blues are down 3-1 in the series and face off in Colorado tonight. 

The Toronto Blue Jays are back on the winning column. They downed the Cardinals 8-1 on St. Louis territory. They'll start a four-game series in Los Angeles against the Angels starting tomorrow.
