The City of Kenora has placed the ice in at the Keewatin Memorial Arena for a unique way for residents to cool off this summer.

Beginning Monday, those who would like to book an ice time may do so by calling the Kenora Recreation Centre at 467-2087 to book over the phone or visit the centre and book in-person.

The cost to rent the ice is 176.70 per hour as keeping the ice cool throughout the summer is more costly than what it would be in the winter.

Skating will come to a close for the summer on August 31, 2021.
