The Saint Thomas Aquinas Saints boys golf team topped the leader board again for the second straight week.

TA hosted their first athletic event of the season, as the second high school golf tournament was held at the Kenora Golf and Country Club yesterday.

For the second week in a row, the Saints boys team won the tournament with a combined score of 364. Hot on their heels was Fort Frances who came in second with a score of 373, and the Beaver Brae Broncos came in third just 6 strokes behind FF with a score of 379.

Emerson Evans led the event with the lowest score of 84, and Carson Maffey finished in a tie for 3rd on the day with a score of 91 with Beaver Brae’s Lane Vanderwetering.

The Saints will hit the links again for their final tournament of the year Thursday, September 30, 2021, at the Beauty Bay Golf Course. Tee off is 10:00 a.m.
