Everyone is pitching in to help those looking to save property from flooding north of the Kenora by-pass.
Today (Thursday, May 19) staff and students at St. Thomas Aquinas High School worked hard today to fill more than 1,200 sandbags for those who are looking to protect their property from flooding.
The sandbags are free and can be picked up any time after 4:00 p.m. during weekdays and at any time over the weekend while supplies last. The sandbags are located in the corner of the upper parking lot between the school and the Multiskills Building (turn right at the stop sign directly in front of the school).
Triple Crown Industries donated the sand.
