Ryan Mignault and Brendan Martin each had three points, as the Kenora Midget AAA Thistles edged Brandon 4-3 yesterday. The win pulled the Thistles into a tie with the Wheat Kings at 23 points in the standings.

The victory came after a pair of losses on their weekend road trip. After a tough start Friday with a 7-2 loss against the Capitals in Portage, the Thistles fell 5-2 in Souris against Southwest.

The Wild visit the rec centre Saturday night at 8 o'clock, before Kenora hits the road again Sunday, when they visit the Winnipeg Thrashers.

That's the last game before the Christmas break. They'll resume in the New Year on Jan. 2, when they host Pembina Valley for a pair of games.
