Dryden Fire Service units and firefighters were dispatched to a Sandy Beach Road gravel pit for a large vehicle on an early-morning fire at 3:08 a.m. Saturday.
On arrival, firefighters found a tractor truck unit interior cab on fire.
Workers at the site had knocked down the main fire flames with portable fire extinguishers, and firefighters fully suppressed the balance of fire over the next 30 minutes.
No injuries occurred and damage was limited to the cab and dash of the truck.
Dryden firefighters have responded to six emergency incidents over the first five days of December.
