Residents can expect delays along Lakeview Drive and Bernier Drive tomorrow (Tuesday, February 8, 2022) as the KGS Group conducts test drilling work on the harbourfront.
A lane of Lakeview Drive will be closed between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., while a lane of Bernier Drive will be closed between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
The City of Kenora says traffic will be reduced to a single lane for 30 minutes at a time while test drilling is completed.
The geotechnical drilling investigation is for the Harbourfront Business Development Plan detailed design.

The redevelopment of Kenora’s Harbourfront and Greenbelt will start with Husky the Muskie and McLeod Park this year, if everything goes as planned.
