With school finishing on Friday it's now time for the beginning of Kenora's volleyball camps.

The 13th Annual Kenora Volleyball Camp runs June 29th to July 3 followed by the Lakehead University and St. Thomas Aquinas volleyball camp on July 6 to 9th.

The Kenora Volleyball camp is coached by Megan Derouard and Bob Kowal. This camp offers two sessions. The first Skills Camp runs from 9 in the morning until 2 in the afternoon and it for children in Grades 6 to 9. The second Elite Camp runs from 3 to 6:30 and is for children in Grades 10 to 12.

The camp is held in the Beaver Brae gym. The cost is $125 for the skills camp and $150 for the elite camp. Registrations are still being accepted. Derouard says forms can be dropped off to her directly at St. Thomas Aquinas or just given to the secretary.

The LUTSA volleyball camp is run by Lakehead University women's volleyball head coach Chris Green and TA teachers Michelle Cournoyer and Jordan Dunford. The Grade 7 and 8 session runs from 8:30-10:30. Grade 9-10 is 11:00-1:00 and finally the Grade 11-12 session is 2:00 to 5:00.

This camp is free with registration open until this Friday. Children can register by signing up at the TA office.

Lakehead University coach Chris Green will head the LUTSA camp in two weeks.
