William Grant Staple (Billy)
It is with profound sadness that the family of Billy announces his sudden passing on June 6, 2023. Born in Kenora on February 23, 1959, he was the second son of Albert and Alice Staple of Keewatin.
Billy spent his whole life living and working in carpentry in the Kenora area. His favorite work was out on the lake on various construction jobs, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends. His generosity and kindness were well known, along with his love of animals. He was a brother we looked up to with love and respect, and when he was younger, he took his role in caring for his younger siblings very seriously.
He was predeceased by his parents, his older brother Gordie, as well as his brother-in-law, Dave Mather.
He is survived by his sisters, Sue Mather, and Donna (Dave) Tkachyk, and his younger brother Al (Kelly) Staple. He is also survived by his nieces and their families.
The family will be holding a private memorial to honor Billy.
We will love & remember you always, dear brother.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.brownfuneralhomekenora.com for the Staple family.
