Ara (L) and Emma (R) took advantage of a beautiful Tuesday afternoon to sell their artwork in Keewatin.
Now that 6 year olds Ara Kakis and Emma Makarow have finished school for the year, they've decided on a great way to spend their time off. Both girls took a good part of the day to make beautiful pieces of artwork to sell this afternoon outside of Ara's home on Ottawa Street in Keewatin. Patrons had their choice of single art pieces and greeting cards that were a joint effort of both girls talents. Neither of the girls knew exactly what they were going to do with the proceeds they make from the sale of their wares, but I'm sure they'll think of something great! Inspiriting to see such an entrepreneurial and creative business venture at such a young age and what a better way to celebrate Kenora Arts Fest then dabbling in your own creativity!
