Kenora's own Jesse Bachinsky is off to a great start at the Canada Winter Games.

Representing team Manitoba Bachinsky and his guide have earned a gold for their performance in the Men's Para-Nordic Skiing 2.5 km run.

The Canada Winter Games are taking place in Red Deer Alberta and wrap up on, Sunday March 3.
