The Superior International Junior Hockey League announced that Dryden GM Ice Dogs forward Jacen Bracko has been named its Play It Again Sports player of the week for the period ending March 11.

In four outings during the week that was, the 20-year-old from Calgary, AB amassed 11 points in all, including a league-best seven goals helping Dryden move into a first-place tie in the SIJHL’s regular season standings with the Thief River Falls Norskies, heading into the final week prior to the start of the playoffs.

Currently riding a 13-game point streak, Bracko tops all SIJHL skaters in both goals and points with 47 and 80 respectively.

This is Bracko's second time as the player of the week. He was named in the first week of the regular season.

The Dogs are hitting the ice again Thursday night when they head to English River to take on the Miners.
