The Kenora Midget AAA Thistles final push for a playoff spot begins tonight. Kenora, whose battling with Southwest and Parkland for the last playoff position, hosts the Winnipeg Thrashers at the Rec Centre for a 7:30 puck drop tonight.

In a recent interview, team captain Hunter Buzzi talked about his team's season so far.

"Well, we started off at the beginning of the season kind of slumping, trying to find ourselves. In the middle of the season, we've picked it up a lot. We've improved a lot, but we've still gotta make a push to make the playoffs," he said.

The Thistles are on the road Sunday to play the Wild in Winnipeg, before returning home for their final two regular season games next weekend.
